The published guidance restricts used-vehicle imports to the country of manufacture. Ask your agent to confirm the vehicle origin and current rule.
Check Japanese age certification
For Japan, the published checklist requires JAAI certification recording age, model and chassis. Confirm accepted certificates before shipment.
Confirm the current import policy
Check your importer eligibility and permits with CCI&E and your customs agent. Obtain a current duty and landed-cost assessment before payment.
